I believe giving back is one of the greatest life lessons we can teach our children and people of our society : that the world isn’t all about them and that, through our actions, people will really discover what kind of person we truly are.
Met this nice person, Shane (name changed for privacy reasons) at a train station on my way to work and found he was literally shivering in cold and strong cold breeze.
Offered Shane a drink and he readily agreed to it and so bought him a nice cappuccino with two sugars (well that’s what he requested for). Then had a brief chat with Shane, listening to his story . Although this nice man is willing to work , i can’t think of offering any job for him. However, i assured Shane that if anyone , who will read my post in social media , has any opportunity and contact me , i will definitely get back to him….
A deep wound ….only a kind gesture and compassion can help. God bless Shane . A wonderful start of another day of life and another day closer to heaven.
