রূপকথা

On the day when I was offered the role of Pabon (পবন) in the play Rupkotha ((রূপকথা) I told the Director of the play – ” As this is my first attempt in drama on stage , please give the shortest role in a particular character in the play”

After my scene is completed on the day of the performance , when I was in the backstage my thoughts were – ” I wish I had a few more lines in my dialogue and could act a bit more on the stage “.

That was my whole experience of the journey explained in a few words.

It’s not about being someone different. It’s finding the similarity in what is apparently different, then finding myself in there.

That what’s acting is, I believe.
