Antelope Canyon

Do you remember the photo of a piece of rock , now vintage, at the Microsoft Windows 7 wallpaper? That’s the picture of the Canyon,  located just near the Arizona state line adjacent to the city of Page.

Nearly 28 years ago, a nature photographer,  Chuck O’Rear took a photo that soon became part of billions of people’s lives when National Geographic published the photo on their cover page of the magazine.

We flew from Dallas to Las Vegas , NV and hired a SUV from there to drive to Page, AZ which was approximately 271 miles or nearly 440 kms and stayed in a hotel overnight.

Next day morning , we woke up early , had our breakfast, wore enough warm clothes and drove to the tour operator office not too far. From there , we took a Jeep to the Antelope Canyon.

One of the best places we visited which provided unparalleled beauty. Breathtaking views and ample opportunity for photographers to click beautiful photos. The lights inside were simply amazing and unbelievable. Thanks to Ranjit and Manisha to plan this trip for us.
