Volunteering

As we grow older,  we discover that we have got two hands – one for helping ourselves and the other for helping others.

As Indy crossed the rainbow bridge a couple of months back and my mind still talks with her and my heart still looks for her but my soul knows she is in peace but the void she have left in our lives is as big as the love she gave us …

It breaks my heart whenever I walk in the morning at the same path , we both used to walk since last eleven and half years .

I was looking for a voluntary organisation  that dedicated to keeping pets and people together.

Thanks to Kathryn for mentioning about POOPS.

POOPS WA (Pets of Older Persons WA) is a no-fee, volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to helping people and their pets stay together. Our dedicated volunteers step in to help with dog walking and transport to vet or grooming appointments, ensuring that no one has to say goodbye to their pet due to age, or health challenges.

Looking forward to hold a leash and walk along side a fur baby and helping the elderly who are unable to take their dogs for regular walks .

Let’s see if I can lighten the burdens of an older person …….

“ It’s not where you walk , it’s about WHO you walk with “
